Our Scholarship Programs and Outreach Opportunities
As of May 15th, 2019, The Sweater Fish Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization recognized under Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code.
We are currently developing our scholarship programs but below marks some of our ideas and goals but there is more to come.
Only the ‘Surprise Grant’ is active at this time.
Surprise Grant – $20-$100
The staff at Sweater Fish spends time visiting social media channels, searching for artists representing their works or crowdfunding fundraisers. At random, we may choose and donate to one of your projects because we think your project either needs a boost or is close to making its funding goal. It can happen on any day or at any time, with no warning.
We do not accept requests to review crowdfunding projects in motion or suggestions on where to donate. Our choices are based on criteria that aligns with our mission. Contacting us about your project will immediately remove it from consideration for this surprise gift.
